Battlefords RCMP responded to more than 60 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 and 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24.

Sunday, Oct. 23

7:11 a.m. - A 21-year-old man was arrested after a report of an assault with bear mace on the 1100 block of 111th Street. The accused and victim were known to each other. The matter remains under investigation, and charges of assault with a weapon are pending. 

11:53 a.m. - Break and enter to a residence in Cochin over the previous night.

12:44 p.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on the 1300 block of 105th Street. No injuries alleged. Matter remains under investigation, no arrests or charges made at this time.

2:13 p.m. – A 23-year-old man arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking. He was located at a residence on the 800 block of 111th Street in violation of a no contact order relating to a previous assault charge. Accused held in custody to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday.

2:42 p.m. - Vehicle parked on the 1000 block of 108th Street had a side mirror damaged overnight.

7:16 p.m. - Report of a hit and run to a vehicle parked on the 100 block of 29th Street in Battleford. 

7:53 p.m. - 21-year-old man arrested and facing one count of assault after a report of an altercation at a residence on the Red Pheasant First Nation. Victim did not require medical attention and both parties were known to each other. Accused has since been released from custody on several conditions and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court in November.

Monday, Oct. 24

12:22 a.m. - Lisa Koenig, 26, reported missing, last seen in area of 100th Street and 20th Avenue wearing a black sweater with a Marilyn Monroe graphic on it. She also has noticeable bruises and stitches to her face. Still awaiting recent photos to release to public.

Police also arrested three persons for alcohol related offences, there were 12 traffic complaints, seven alarms responded to, three child welfare investigations, two Mental Health Act investigations, one bylaw complaint and seven minor disturbances.
