An individual involved in a police chase and collision on Nov. 1 in North Battleford has been denied bail.

Kane Nicotine, who faces 14 mostly weapons-related counts in connection to that and other incidents that day, appeared by closed-circuit TV for his bail hearing Monday at North Battleford Provincial Court. A publication ban has been entered on the evidence presented in that hearing.

Kane faces two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, possession of stolen property, operating a motor vehicle knowing it contained a firearm, two counts of possessing a weapon while prohibited, two counts of possession of a prohibited weapon, one count possession of weapon dangerous to public peace, two counts mischief under $5,000, possession of a firearm without a licence, possessing a firearm while prohibited and flight from police.
