He wasn't even in attendance at Monday's council meeting, but Councillor Ryan Bater has filed a notice of motion calling for a joint meeting to address public safety issues in North Battleford.
The notice of motion reads: Be it resolved that council of the City of North Battleford request a joint meeting with the Minister of Public Safety, Government of Canada, minister of justice for the Province of Saskatchewan and the elected council of the City of North Battleford, to discuss an action plan addressing public safety matters in the city of North Battleford.
The motion will be discussed and come up for a vote at the next council meeting.
