North Battleford is one of the many communities seeing Black Lives Matter protests after the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.
Peaceful demonstrations took place on Friday in downtown North Battleford, with marchers marching and waving placards on 100th Street. They also made their way past City Hall.
The indication is there will be another peaceful protest starting a 4 p.m. today on 100th Street at 13th Avenue.
Organizers are asking participants to wear masks and gloves and to socially distance, and to bring water and snacks as they will not be provided.
