The building permit numbers continue to climb even higher in North Battleford.
The city had already topped last year’s numbers as of September’s numbers. Now, the city has added an additional 10 permits for $644,000 in permit values for the month of October. The figures compare to 12 permits issued for $212,685 for the same month in 2017.
This brings the grand total for 2018 to 117 permits for $24,287,100. That is the exact same number of permits compared to all of last year in North Battleford, while permit values are well ahead of the grand total for 2017 of $17,570,310.
Driving most of the numbers for October were three commercial alteration permits for $380,500 and one new industrial permit for $167,900. The numbers were released at the city’s planning committee meeting on Monday evening at City Hall.
