Building permits still not quite at ’14 pace

June was another strong month for building permits in North Battleford, though not quite as strong as the same month in 2014.

According to numbers submitted at Monday’s city council meeting, a total of 14 permits were issued at a value of $3,664,400 in June, which compared to 11 permits for $4,655,100 issued a year earlier.

Those numbers include two new dwelling permits for $475,000.00, three new garage permits for $64,000, five residential alteration permits for $35,400 and four commercial alteration permits for $3,090,000

For the year through June 2015, the city has issued 60 permits for $15,428,300, compared to 46 permits for $21,637,800 a year ago.
