North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Sunday, July 5 and 6 a.m. Monday, July 6.

Sunday

• There was a complaint at a residence on the 1500 block of 110th Street at 6:45 p.m. of a fight between family members. Officers went to the home and learned that one family member, a 39-year-old woman, had assaulted another family member and threatened them with a knife. She was charged with assault and assault with a weapon and she was held in custody for court the following day.

• Someone reported a van that was on fire just outside of Red Pheasant First Nation on Highway 4 South around 10:15 p.m.

Monday

• There was a report of three males that were breaking into vehicles on the 8900 block of 19th Avenue at 12:20 a.m.

• Just after a.m. officers received a complaint that someone had just been threatened by a 51-year-old woman who was not known to him. The woman was arrested and charged with uttering threats and for breaching the conditions of her undertaking. She was held in custody and appeared in court later in the morning.

• Around 3:30 a.m. there was a report of loud popping sounds on Moosomin First Nation and a little while later the caller could see smoke coming from the direction of the sounds. Officers attended the area and a vehicle was on fire.

• There was a complaint of someone trying to get into parked vehicles in the back alley of the 800 block of 113th Street at 5:32 a.m.

In addition, there were three people arrested for alcohol related offences, three disturbances reported, one traffic complaint, one nuisance 911 call and one false alarm.
