Cabin break and enters

Battlefords RCMP are once again dealing with residential break ins at the resort village of Cochin, 35 kilometres north of the Battlefords. Between June 12 and 20, 12 reports of break and enters to cabins in Cochin were received by Battlefords RCMP.

Battlefords RCMP are once again dealing with residential break ins at the resort village of Cochin, 35 kilometres north of the Battlefords.

Between June 12 and 20, 12 reports of break and enters to cabins in Cochin were received by Battlefords RCMP. According to police a number of items were stolen such as electronics, firearms and alcohol.

Break ins have been an ongoing problem over the years at Cochin, located near Jackfish Lake. Charges have been laid against several of those accused of involvement in the latest round of thefts.

Nineindividuals have been arrested and charged following an investigation by BattlefordsRCMP RuralDetachment andBattlefords RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section,

RCMP continue to investigate these incidents and continue to be on the lookout for additional culprits.
