Two people from Poundmaker First Nation will be appearing in Cut Knife Provincial Court Jan. 15 to face drug related charges after a raid on the reserve Tuesday.
North Battleford Provincial GIS with assistance fromthe Cut Knife RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a residence on the Poundmaker First Nation. RCMP say they seized a small amount of marihuana, other itemsused in thepackaging and sale of marihuana and approximately $1,800 in cash.
Christopher Chickness, 46, and Tammy Kasokeo, 35,have both been charged with trafficking of marihuana, possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
