Children under age three left unattended

North Battleford RCMP responded to about 43 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, May 16 and 6 a.m. Saturday, May 17. Among those calls were three false alarms and two traffic/driving complaints. Friday 7:12 a.m.

North Battleford RCMP responded to about 43 calls for service/occurrences between 6 a.m. Friday, May 16 and 6 a.m. Saturday, May 17.


Among those calls were three false alarms and two traffic/driving complaints.


Friday


7:12 a.m. - Report of a fire at a car dealership on 99th Street. Fire department investigation indicates it was not suspicious.


9:00 a.m. - Report of a stolen bicycle from a business on 100th Street. Described as black and gold BMX bike.


10:19 a.m. - Report of mischief near a school that happened four days prior. 


12:15 p.m. - Report of an erratic driver on Highway 16. Vehicle not located.


12:24 p.m. - Third party report of threats being made on Facebook. Alleged victim not willing to provide a statement.


1:07 p.m. - Report of a man sleeping in parking lot on 101st Street. A 45-year-old man was arrested and charged for public intoxication. He was released when sober.


1:16 p.m. - Report of individuals causing a disturbance in front of a business on 101st Street. Members attended and the individuals left without incident.


3:16 p.m. - Call to assist Social Services to check a residence for a missing person out of Saskatoon. Not located in this area


2:45 p.m. - Call from a concerned mother regarding her 17-year-old daughter and that she may have run off with her boyfriend. Daughter was located a short time later by her mother and all was fine.


4:04 p.m. - Report of a suspicious person. Turned out to be a door-to-door salesman.


5:59 p.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on 110th Street. Investigation revealed no assault had occurred and parties went their separate ways.


6:18 p.m. - Complaint of quads driving around in residential neighbourhood.


7:11 p.m. - A 41-year-old man was arrested behind a business on 100th Street for public intoxication.


7:12 p.m. - Complaint of a dog left in a vehicle outside a business on Territorial Drive. Vehicle departed before police arrived


10:31 p.m. - Report of persons rummaging through a vehicle on 101st Street. Still under investigation.


8:00 p.m. - Report of youth drinking behind a school. Four male youth were located, one was in possession of an open bottle of alcohol and charged with minor possession of beverage alcohol under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act.


8:48 p.m. - Outside a business on 101st Street, a 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with public intoxication.


8:55 p.m. - Report of a suspicious man on 104th Street. Police attended and located an intoxicated 34-year-old man who lived nearby. He agreed to stay inside his house.


9:19 p.m. - Two complaints of a car battery on the road on 18th Avenue. Battery removed.


9:23 p.m. - Police attended a residence on 103rd Street and mediated an argument between mother and son.


9:16 p.m. - Call of youth drinking in a backyard on 104th Street. Youth scattered before police arrived and patrols were negative.


9:28 p.m. - Report of a single vehicle accident in a parking lot on Railway Avenue. Driver suffered minor injuries. Still under investigation.


9:40 p.m. - Call of a disturbance on 104th Street. Members attended and arrested one male youth for public intoxication and and outstanding warrant. He was released when sober and will appear in court on a breach probation charge at a later date. The other youth left without incident.


10:51 p.m. - Complaint of youth trespassing in a yard on 104th Street. They departed before police arrived. Patrols negative.


11:38 p.m. - Police attended a residence on 104th Street and mediated an argument between a husband and wife.


11:36 p.m. - Report of a passed out man in a building on 103rd Street. A 41-year-old man was arrested and charged with public intoxication. released when sober.


Saturday


12:44 a.m. - Police attended a residence on St. Laurent Drive after receiving a complaint that there were three young children left unattended. Social Services attended as well and apprehended three children, all under the age of three. Still under investigation.


1:30 a.m. - Complaint of someone trying to kick in a door on St. Laurent Drive. Members attended and nothing of the sort had happened. A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend was mediated and both parties went separate ways.


2:42 a.m. - Police located a 34-year-old man walking down 14th Avenue, no shoes, no shirt. He was arrested for public intoxication. Released when sober.


3:14 p.m. - Report of an assault that occurred at a residence on 105th Street. Parties known to each other. Suspect departed before police arrived. still under investigation.


4:30 a.m. - Report of an unwanted intoxicated woman at a residence on 96th Street. She departed before police arrived.
