On Dec. 25 at 8:30 a.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of domestic violence at a residence on the 800 block of 109th Street, North Battleford.
Later that same morning a 30-year-old male was taken into custody and is facing three charges including assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats.
The persons inside the residence did not sustain any serious injuries as a result of this incident.
The accused has been remanded into custody and made his first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court Dec. 28.
