Christmas shopping has begun

Leask Recreation Board Christmas craft and trade fair Nov. 26 showcased 32 craftspeople, artisans and independent distributors with representation from Spiritwood, Shell Lake, Blaine Lake, Leask, Saskatoon and many locations in between.

Leask Recreation Board Christmas craft and trade fair Nov. 26 showcased 32 craftspeople, artisans and independent distributors with representation from Spiritwood, Shell Lake, Blaine Lake, Leask, Saskatoon and many locations in between.

The event attracted many guests looking for a quality gift, baked goods or a special keepsake. There was a diverse selection of exhibits including original paintings; homemade jewelry; woodwork; quilted, sewn, crocheted and knitted items; homemade baked products and preserves, as well as selections from independent distributors. There were many gift ideas available at affordable prices.

The recreation board was also responsible for the soup and sandwich luncheon.
