A Battleford man charged with trafficking cocaine will return to court in two weeks.
Ian Dusty Gopher appeared in North Battleford Provincial Court Monday. He is charged with trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and with possession of proceeds of a crime under the Criminal Code.
Defence lawyer John Kwok appeared by conference call Monday and requested time to review the disclosure he received in the case last week.
Gopher is due to return to provincial court June 3. His lawyer is due to again appear on his behalf by conference call.
Gopher was arrested May 1 by the Battlefords RCMP Provincial and Municipal General Investigative Sections, following the execution of a search warrant at Gopher's residence. According to police, that search resulted in seizure of approximately eight grams of cocaine as well as cash and other drug paraphernalia. Gopher is currently not in custody.
