Collision in the drive-through

The North Battleford RCMP responded to less than 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday June 18 and 6 a.m. Thursday June 19. Six calls were traffic related complaints, two were false alarms and two were false or nuisance 911 calls.

The North Battleford RCMP responded to less than 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday June 18 and 6 a.m. Thursday June 19.


Six calls were traffic related complaints, two were false alarms and two were false or nuisance 911 calls.


Wednesday


12:33 p.m. - Complaint of two intoxicated individuals causing a disturbance on 101st Street.  51-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman arrested and held in custody until sober.


2:43 p.m. - 17-year-old youth arrested on 106th Street for outstanding warrants and facing two new charges of Breach of Probation after being found under the influence of narcotics at time of arrest.


2:45 p.m. - Report of a fraud from previous month. Few details available at this time, investigation ongoing.


2:46 p.m. - Two vehicle collision on Highway 4 North. Minor injuries reported by occupants. Both vehicles sustained minor damage, but were able to be driven away from the scene. Cause remains under investigation.


3:31 p.m. - A 44-year-old man and 41-year-old woman arrested for Public Intoxication by patrolling members, located on 101st Street.


3:34 p.m. - 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with Assault after members called to a residence on 109th Street through 911 on a report of a domestic violence matter which had just occurred. The man is also facing one count of Failing to Comply with conditions of an Undertaking.


3:43 p.m. - Report of a van on 102nd Street swerving to purposely strike and kill a cat. No description of van provided.


4:35 p.m. - Two vehicle collision in the drive-through lane of a restaurant on Railway Avenue East. One vehicle sustained significant damage and had to be towed from scene.  One vehicle rear-ended the other while in drive through.


5:55 p.m. - Report of an argument/altercation going on between two people on 108th Street. Subjects all spoken to and confirmed safe. 


7:43 p.m. - Report of missing youth from a group home. The youth was found Thursday morning.


8:56 p.m. - A lawn mower reported stolen in last 30 minutes from a yard on St Laurent Drive.


9:47 p.m. - Members notified of a subject on warrant status in a home on Diefenbaker Drive. A 32-year-old man arrested and facing three new charges of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking. Outstanding warrants for Assault and Assault causing Bodily harm.  Subject remains in custody to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on June 19 at 9:30 a.m.


11:47 p.m. - Call of unknown male sleeping on sidewalk in front of a home on 97th Street. 28-year-old man arrested and charged under the Liquor Act.


Thursday


1:15 a.m. - 51-year-old man arrested at a home on 106th Street after a call of a male causing problems and intoxicated at residence. Held in custody until sober.


2:35 a.m. - Complaint of a vehicle driving on Highway 16 against traffic. Located by members in the city still travelling in the wrong lane and stopped without issue. The 36-year-old female driver was arrested and is facing charges of Impaired Driving, Driving while over .08 and Driving without a license.


4:45 a.m. - 911 call to a residence on 100th Street reporting someone with a hockey stick getting aggressive. Complainant found to be very intoxicated, could or would not tell police who was at home or what had occurred.
