Community safety officer locates drugs and drug paraphernalia

Between 6 a.m. Monday, July 20 and 6 a.m. Sunday, July 21, North Battleford RCMP responded to approximately 35calls for service, including:
Monday, July 20

- There was a report of an intoxicated woman that was passed out in a bathroom stall at a business on 101st Street at 3:48 p.m. The 25-year-old woman was arrested and held in custody until she was sober.
- Officers attended a residence on the 1500 block of 104th Street for a complaint of a domestic assault at 7:13 p.m. A 21-year-old woman was arrested and charged with assault and released for court at a later date.

- There was a break and enter in progress reported at 10:22 p.m. on the 2500 block of 100th Street.  Officers arrested a 22 year old intoxicated male that was in the residence and held him for court.  He was charged with breaking and entering and for failing to comply with the no-alcohol conditions on his probation order.

- Officers were requested to attend a residence on the 1100 block of 111th Street for a disturbance at a residence at 10:22 p.m. A male youth was found to be the subject of complaint in the home and he was intoxicated and had a probation order with conditions to abstain from alcohol consumption. He was arrested and held for court.
- A Community Safety Officer stopped a vehicle on the 1000 block of 102nd Street around 11:00 p.m. and located drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. Officers attended and assisted.
Sunday, July 21
- Someone called just before 3 a.m. and reported that a person had tried to enter her house on Saulteaux First Nation through a window. The person was not successful in getting into the residence and was not located.

- Three people were involved in a single-vehicle accident at 3:15 a.m. on Mosquito First Nation. There were no serious injuries and the vehicle was towed.

- A structure fire was reported on Saulteaux First Nation at 4:45 a.m. Officers attended. A shed was destroyed by the fire but it did not spread to any other structures.
- A garage was broken into overnight on Maher Drive and an SUV was stolen. The vehicle was located in Alberta and an individual was charged in relation to having possession of the stolen SUV.

- There was a break and enter reported at a business on Moosomin First Nation that occurred overnight. The investigation is ongoing.
There were also three individuals that were arrested for alcohol related offences, six disturbances reported, one minor collision, two false alarms, three nuisance 911 calls, and one person reported missing that has already been located.
