The North Battleford RCMP responded to more than 55 calls between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29 and 6 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
Over the noted time period, they also made two arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other investigations included six false or nuisance 911 calls, three reports relating to minor traffic infractions, two reports relating to minor disturbances, one municipal bylaw complaint, one Child Welfare Act, one false alarm and one missing person report.
Police are seeking information about the following incidents:
Wednesday
( A business on the 700 block of 108th Street sustained damage to windows some time during the evening of Oct. 28 or early morning of Oct. 29.
( A vehicle parked on the 1300 block of 110th Street was entered some time overnight with a small amount of property reported to have been stolen, including two radios.
( Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Railway Avenue East shortly before 3 p.m.Both vehicles involved in the collision sustained significant damage and had to be towed from the scene.No injuries reported. Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the collision.
( A hit-and-run collision was reported at the intersection of 100th Street and 18th Avenue shortly before 4 p.m.A suspect vehicle described as a white Chevrolet Cavalier is alleged to have struck a truck at the intersection before leaving the scene.The suspect vehicle has since been identified and the collision continues to be under investigation.
( Police received a number of complaints in the Riverview area of a younger man with no shoes yelling and causing a disturbance between 6:30 and 7 p.m. The suspect was located shortly after 7 p.m. after gaining entry into a residence on the 600 block of 101st Street where he was confronted by the occupant and fled on foot before being arrested by members a short distance away.Charges of break and enter are being pursued.
( A complaint of five kids throwing eggs at a school on 19th Avenue.
( A complaint that a local grocery store did not have any cottage cheese. The complainant advised that she got upset with the manager and swore at him. The member advised the complainant that she was free to shop elsewhere if she was not happy with that particular store.
( A complaint was received that a woman had been bear sprayed by two men at the skate park. Ambulance and police dispatched and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment. This investigation is ongoing.
Thursday
( A report of a vehicle damaged while parked during the day at a school off of 110th Street.
( Complaint of intoxicated people fighting at an address on 102nd Street. Members attended to find the house full of intoxicated persons, one of these people being on conditions to abstain. One man was arrested and held for court.
( Report of a structure fire at a business on 102nd Street. Police and Fire Department attended. There was minimal damage and fire was minor in nature and quickly controlled.
( Report of a break and enter at an address on 111th Street. Homeowner was away and came home to find six people inside her home. This investigation is ongoing.
( Complaint of an ex-boyfriend trying to get into a complainant's apartment on 108th Street. Members attended and the man was arrested for being in breach of court ordered conditions.
( Complaint of erratic driving on Highway 16 eastbound into North Battleford. Patrols were made and results were negative.
