The City of North Battleford has introduced its latest Community Safety Officer.
Gregory A. Brown was introduced to council Monday by Fire Chief Albert Headrick.
He comes to the city from Alberta, and has served in communities such as Winnipeg, Man. Yellowknife, N.W.T. and Lac La Biche County, Alta.
The new hire comes in the wake of the decision by council at their special meeting in August to add one additional Community Safety Officer to address the need for more water treatment plant security in the aftermath of the oil spill.
