The individual charged with dangerous driving causing death in connection to the collision involving a semi on Highways 16 and 40 has appeared in provincial court.
Harry Weiss. 64, of Barrhead, Alta., appeared before Judge Kim Young on Wednesday morning. He was remanded in custody to return to court Thursday morning.
He is charged with charged with one count of impaired operation of a vehicle causing death and one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death.
