Deer, vehicle collide

One person was injured when a vehicle collided with a deer about two kilometers south of Battleford Sunday just before 8:30 p.m.

The injured person was transported to hospital and the vehicle, which suffered damage to the front, was towed from the scene.

A pedestrian hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 100th Street and 19th Avenue in North Battleford at about 8 a.m. Monday was treated at the scene by WPD Ambulance personnel.

No one was hurt, but a vehicle went up in flames early Saturday morning.

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services were called to the fire at 1632A -104th Street at about 7:30 a.m.

One apparatus and five firefighters were on the scene for about 20 minutes.
