Despite strong offense, Tisdale Trojans fall to Saskatoon Blazers 3-1

The Tisdale Trojans pelted away at the Saskatoon Blazers, but a strong defense resulted in a 3-1 loss for the Trojans. At the away game Nov. 29, the Trojans made 39 shots, while the Blazers only made 28.

The Tisdale Trojans pelted away at the Saskatoon Blazers, but a strong defense resulted in a 3-1 loss for the Trojans.

At the away game Nov. 29, the Trojans made 39 shots, while the Blazers only made 28.

The first period saw Connor Gabruch of the Blazers score the first game with only 14 seconds left on the clock.

Almost four minutes into the second period, the Blazers’ Carter Stebbings, scored. The Trojans answered back three minutes and 40 seconds later with a goal from Colton Schell, with an assist from Davis Chorney. Then, with less than two minutes left in the period, the Blazers’ Ethan Ironside gave his team their third point.

The Trojans’ Roddy Ross defended the pipes for the entire game, while Matthew Pesenti did the same for the Blazers.
