Motorists in North Battleford are being urged to watch out for workers following an incident Friday where a city worker was injured on the job.
According to a North Battleford news release a city worker was bumped by a vehicle driving where it should not have been driving. The public works department was working on street repairs, filling cracks on 100th Street.
The City says the worker is still on the job and suffered only minor bruising, but it could have been worse.
According to the City, as a result of today's incident all four lanes of traffic northbound and southbound will be closed on whatever block workers are working on. Detours are in place and the city says they must be obeyed.
