Drug charges after search on Ross Crescent

North Battleford RCMP responded to 28 calls for service between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16. Over that time period, RCMP also made four arrests relating to alcohol offences.

North Battleford RCMP responded to 28 calls for service between 6 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Over that time period, RCMP also made four arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other matters included one false 911 call, two child welfare investigations, two minor disturbances, one alarm responded to, two minor collisions, two traffic investigations and one reported missing person who was located.

Police are seeking information into the following incidents:

Monday

• Three-vehicle collision on 100th Street near the intersection with 18th Avenue at 12:10 p.m. Some minor injuries reported. Two vehicles had to be towed from scene and there were some minor traffic delays for approximately a half hour.

• 26-year-old woman arrested and charged with failing to comply with undertaking, after a search of a residence on Ross Crescent shortly after 2 p.m. Accused found in possession of various drug paraphernalia and remains in custody, to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Tuesday.

• A 46-year-old man is facing charges of assault, resisting arrest and causing a disturbance after a report of an assault and disturbance on the 1100 block of 101st Street at 3:42 p.m. The accused was found very intoxicated, the victim does not appear to have been injured in the incident. The man was reported to be intoxicated and harassing people in the area and is reported to have been attempting to engage in a physical altercation with a passerby. The accused has since been released from custody on several conditions and is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court Jan. 26.

• Single vehicle collision reported at 11:30 p.m. on 101st Street. Driver lost control and struck a pole, causing significant damage and vehicle had to be towed from scene. The driver was not injured and is facing charges of driving without a valid licence.

• Report of graffiti to a fence on Cardinal Crescent. Reported shortly after 9 p.m.
