David Allan Greene of Unity, charged Nov. 22 with trafficking cocaine (crack), possession of cocaine (crack) for the purposes of trafficking, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana, appeared in provincial court in Unity Feb. 24.

His lawyer, William Tatarchuk, of St. Albert, Alta., appeared by telephone.

Greene pled not guilty to all charges and the matter was set down for trial in North Battleford, Aug. 14.

Along with Greene, Garri-Lynn (aka Karen) Hockley was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana Nov. 22. Her appearance in provincial court in Unity Feb. 24 was the third time she has attended court without a lawyer and without entering a plea, asking for a further adjournment.

Judge Dyck adjourned the matter to March 17 in Unity, but warned Hockley she would be expected to enter a plea at that time, "with or without counsel."
