More than 20 calls for service were made to the North Battleford RCMP detachment between 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 29 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30.
Included in those calls were two false alarms,five traffic investigations, one mental health investigation,two child welfare/family relations investigation and four municipal bylaw/disturbance complaints.
Monday
10:38 a.m. - Two-vehicle collision at 11th Avenue and 103rd Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from scene.A 50-year-old man has been charged under the Traffic Safety Act with proceeding from a stop sign before safe.
12:10 p.m. - Report of a window damaged some time over previous four days, believed by a rock.
2:17 p.m. - 65-year-old man arrested and charged with causing a disturbance after complaint of a very intoxicated man was refusing or unable to leave a location on 107th Street.
2:42 p.m. - 27-year-old man arrested for breach of peace and held in custody until sober after a complaint about the subject at a home on 114th Street. He was drunk and yelling at occupants.
6:52 p.m. - Call of a TV stolen from a residence on 111th Street some time during the previous night.
6:54 p.m. - Call of an erratic driver. Suspect vehicle located near 16th Avenue and 101st Street.43-year-old male driver arrested and facing charges of impaired driving, driving while over .08 and driving while disqualified.He has since been released and will make his first appearance in Provincial Court Oct. 13. A 24-year-old male passenger was also arrested and is facing charges of failing to comply with an undertaking and possession of marijuana. He will make his first appearance in Provincial Court Nov. 3.
8:58 p.m. - Call of a hit and run at intersection of 11th Avenue and 100th Street.While waiting at traffic lights, the vehicle in front rolled back into complainant's vehicle before leaving and proceeding north on 100th Street. Suspect vehicle described as a four-door car with Alberta Plates.
Tuesday
12:55 a.m. - Report of an assault at a residence on 106th Street.Complainant was allegedly assaulted by suspect with a chair and a glass and sustained some minor injuries to his head.49-year-old woman was located and arrested and is facing one count of assault with a weapon.
