No was injured in a house fire early Sunday morning, but a house on the 1300 block of 97th Street sustained $25,000 worth of damage.
North Battleford Fire and Emergency services arrived on the scene to find a fire burning at the rear corner of the house. It was quickly contained.
"Quick notification of the fire department by neighbours contributed to our crews being able to respond quickly and contain this fire before it got further into the structure," says Deputy Fire Chief Brian Wilson.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but no foul play is suspected, according to Wilson.
