Firearm discharged in 109th Street apartment

North Battleford RCMP responded to 27 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 and Thursday, Nov. 27. Calls for service included Liquor Act violations in the downtown area.

North Battleford RCMP responded to 27 calls for service between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26 and Thursday, Nov. 27.

Calls for service included Liquor Act violations in the downtown area. Other investigations includedone false or nuisance 911 call, two domestic assault investigations, two false alarms andone traffic related occurrence.

Police are seeking information into the following incidents:

Thursday

Report of damage to a vehicle parked on 101st Street. The driver side window had been smashed sometime overnight.

Report of a vehicle being keyed while parked in a business parking lot.

Complaint of assault at a licensed premise. A man was trying to fight a staff member outside the bar, damage to the front door of the establishment as well. This investigation is ongoing.

Report of theft of gas from a local gas station. A man filled up his vehicle with gas and his card would not work to pay. The man apparently went to retrieve funds and has not returned as of yet.

Complaint of a firearm being discharged within an address on 109th Street. Members attended and were able to confirm a round had been fired into the floor of the apartment. No one was harmed during this incident. This investigation is ongoing.
