Four arrested after shots reported

Four people were arrested after Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in Battleford near the corner of 25th Street and 1st Avenue Monday at approximately 8 p.m.

Four people were arrested after Battlefords RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in Battleford near the corner of 25th Street and 1st Avenue Monday at approximately 8 p.m.

Police say an unoccupied parked vehicle was located in the area with the rear window smashed out. The vehicle had been previously reported as stolen from Edmonton, Alta.

The Battlefords Police Dog Services Unit assisted in the investigation and tracked down the location of two adult males, ages 19 and 20, as well as one male youth and one female youth.

All four individuals are arrested in connection with the stolen vehicle and charges are pending.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing and police are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
