Four youths charged after car stolen from North Battleford

Four youths were arrested in Saskatoon after a vehicle was reported stolen in North Battleford Friday. According to Saskatoon Police, a traffic officer spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen from North Battleford at around 10 a.m. Friday.

Four youths were arrested in Saskatoon after a vehicle was reported stolen in North Battleford Friday.

According to Saskatoon Police, a traffic officer spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen from North Battleford at around 10 a.m. Friday.

The vehicle was traveling on Auditorium Avenue in Saskatoon.

A traffic stop was initiated by police at Idylwyld Drive and 22nd Street West. Police arrested three girls - two from North Battleford and one from Saskatoon, as well as one boy from North Battleford.

The girls were aged 12, 15 and 16 and the boy aged 14. All were taken into custody and appeared before a Justice of the Peace in Saskatoon.

All four faced charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000. The boy also was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a prohibited weapon.
