Germann case adjourned to Oct. 28

Counsel have set Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. as the next court date in the Maryann Germann fraud case in North Battleford Provincial Court. Germann is charged with fraud in connection to her activities as administrator at the RM of Meota.

Counsel have set Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. as the next court date in the Maryann Germann fraud case in North Battleford Provincial Court.

Germann is charged with fraud in connection to her activities as administrator at the RM of Meota. The case has been moving slowly through the courts over the past year and is currently in case management. Another case management session is scheduled to happen before the Oct. 28 court date.

Judge Bruce Bauer granted the joint request from Crown and defence for the adjournment in the brief court appearance Tuesday morning. Germann was not required to attend.
