The town of Glaslyn is once again hosting a Summer Solstice Street Fair June 21 from 4 to 8 p.m.
According to Gerry Stroshein of the Glaslyn and District Chamber of Commerce, the event will happen come rain or shine that day.
He says the event will again feature a number of businesses and displays right on Main Street.
The fire department and fire rescue has a demonstration planned, and a stage will be set up for live music as well. There will also be plenty of food including hot dogs, pies and cakes.
Those in the area are encouraged to come out and enjoy the day, and see what items the local stores and businesses have on display during the outdoor celebration.
Last year over 200 people showed up for the event, which was put on by the newly-formed Glaslyn and District Chamber of Commerce as one of the initial efforts of that organization. Stroshein says 22 businesses and organizations are lined up for this year's event.
