In the first of what looks to be an annual occurrence, the Gold Eagle Lodge presented the Battlefords Humane Society with $1,000 on Monday, Aug. 28. The Gold Eagle Lodge held a golf tournament in May at the Jackfish Lodge Golf and Conference Centre. The net proceeds were donated to the Battlefords Humane Society, located at 751-114 St. Gold Eagle Lodge’s Warren Berg said there are plans to carry out the event annually.
