Gold Eagle Lodge has received more recognition, this time from the internationally-known website TripAdvisor.
In a news release, it was announced they are a Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame winner. The award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is only given to establishments that consistently achieve great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.
The Hall of Fame honours businesses that earned a Certificate of Excellence from the site for five consecutive years. Not only does it include hotels but also eateries and other attractions from around the world.
It is based on opinions submitted by travellers on the site over a 12-month period, with a business needing to meet certain criteria. Those include maintaining a TripAdvisor bubble rating of a minimum four out of five, being listed on TripAdvisor for 12 months, and having a minimum number of reviews.
“Being awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence five years in a row and inducted into the Hall of Fame is a true source of pride for the entire team at the Gold Eagle Lodge and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor,” said general manager Malcolm Anderson in a statement.
“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by one’s guests. With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based on guest reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our hotel and our continued commitment to excellence.”
