The list of Achievement in Business Excellence Awards finalists have been announced and there are Battlefords and area connections to two of them.
North Battleford-based Gold Eagle Lodge, is one of eight nominees in the Service Award category.
As well, Kendal Netmaker, founder and CEO of Neechie Gear in Saskatoon, is one of eight nominees in the category of Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Netmaker is from Sweetgrass First Nation. FF2 in the Territorial Place Mall carries his line of clothing.
In all, 54 nominations were announced in 10 categories for the 30th annual awards, which take place Oct. 26 at TCU Place in Saskatoon. Also to be announced at the event will be the Business of the Year ABEX Award.
