Concern about gun shots in the North Battleford city limits have arisen again over this past weekend.
There were two separate reports of suspected gun shots on the weekend, according to North Battleford RCMP.
The first call was made after 1a.m. Saturday in the area of 109th Street and 9th Avenue, with a report of five shots being heard in that vicinity.
Police searched the area and discovered no damage and no injuries. Several witnesses have been interviewed and it has not been confirmed as of yet that the sounds were in fact caused by a firearm.
A second report, similar to the first, was made shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the Panton Avenue area. Again, no property damage was discovered and there were no injuries. Police say they have not been able to confirm the validity of this second incident either.
It is not known whether the two alleged incidents are related. Police say the investigation into the incidents is continuing.
