There is another meeting coming up for Habitat for Humanity and this time it will be of interest to individuals looking to be homeowners.
Councillor Cathy Richardson confirmed a meeting Jan. 20 for Habitat for Humanity, at 7 p.m. at McKitrick School. Information will be presented on what is required for families with income of less than $52,000 income to be eligible.
“If you know of a family who are looking for a home, this is a way for two families to become involved in this project,” said Richardson. They would take on a no-interest mortgage at the end of it.”
The project will be a duplex, so there is a chance for two families to be involved.
