Western Development Museum had some Halloween fun this weekend.
On Friday, there was a pumpkin carving class from 5 to 7 p.m., with a chance for everyone to enter their carved pumpkin in the gallery at Saturday’s Great Pumpkin Masquerade and Family Dance.
The dance was a chance to wear a Halloween costume and compete for a prize, to play ghoulish games, make creepy crafts and join in the costume parade. There was also a Junior Haunted House and a creepy concession.
More Halloween spookiness is on tap for Tuesday, Oct. 29, and Wednesday, Oct. 30. Celebrate Halloween at Fright Nights Haunted House, as they say, “if you can handle it.” Things start at 6:30 p.m. It’s $10 a person, but note no one under 12 is admitted.
All photos from Friday’s pumkin carving are by Averil Hall.
