Harassment complaints investigated

Several complaints of erratic driving were among the 27 calls for service/occurrences dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Marcy 26 and 6 a.m. Thursday, March 27. Wednesday 7:16 a.m. - Ongoing harassment issues reported.

Several complaints of erratic driving were among the 27 calls for service/occurrences dealt with by Battlefords RCMP between 6 a.m. Wednesday, Marcy 26 and 6 a.m. Thursday, March 27.

Wednesday

7:16 a.m. - Ongoing harassment issues reported. Investigation ongoing.

10:34 a.m. - Vehicle parked on 1200 block of 107th Street broken into overnight. Cash and tools missing.

1:58 p.m. - Subject found in possession of marijuana on 8th Avenue. Investigation still ongoing.

2:02 p.m. - Storage shed on Meadow Lark Lane entered, several items missing. Unsure of time of occurrence.

4:21 p.m. - Report of ongoing harassment by text message.

4:35 p.m. - 52-year-old woman arrested after report of an intoxicated person passed out on the steps of a house on 108th Street.

4:42 p.m. - Theft of gasoline from a business on Highway 16 Bypass. Vehicle and driver/suspect have since been identified.

5:58 p.m. - Two-vehicle collision on Territorial Drive. No injuries and all vehicles still safe to operate. 17-year-old male driver of one vehicle was charged for operating a vehicle without a licence.

7:44 p.m. - Report from a business of several intoxicated persons refusing to leave. Members located and arrested two men, ages 45 and 44, both held in custody until sober.

8:13 p.m. - 47-year-old woman and 44-year-old man arrested on 103rd Street after a 911 dispatch to location reporting two very intoxicated people causing a scene. Man also facing charges for violation of probation condition to abstain from alcohol.

9:24 p.m. - Reported theft of gasoline, suspect paid a portion of outstanding bill then fled. Male perpetrator driving a grey van.
