The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public to assist in locating a high-risk sexual offender, Ashton Natomagan.
Due to connections Natomagan has in Saskatchewan, RCMP have distributed information released March 4 by Edmonton Police Service.
Natomagan has been wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for parole violation since Tuesday, Mar. 3 when he failed to comply and return to his half way house.
Natamagan is 33 years old, 5'11", 194 lbs., has brown eyes, black hair and a tattoo on his abdomen, “CURSED.” He has scars on his left index finger and forehead.
Natomagan was released on Monday, Mar. 2 from the Grande Cache Institution after he completed a 61-month sentence for sexual assault causing bodily harm.
He also has 46 criminal convictions including multiple failing to report/comply, break and enters, property-related offences, driving offences, escape lawful custody X 5, unlawfully at large, thefts, drug-related offences as well as an additional sexual assault causing bodily harm.
Natomagan is considered by police to be a sexual offender who poses a risk of significant harm to the community.The public is asked to contact police immediately if they locate Natomagan. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
