EAST CENTRAL — School buses have been cancelled in a number of local communities this afternoon (March 29) due to the weather.
The communities include Humboldt, Bruno, Muenster, Lanigan, Viscount, Imperial, Watson and Englefeld.
“Drivers are contacting families in the affected areas,” the division said on its Facebook page.
A wind warning and a blowing snow advisory from Environment Canada are in effect.
As of 2:50 p.m., the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline is reporting winter conditions on highways surrounding Humboldt. Most highways in the west of the province have been closed.
