Town of Luseland shutting off water for needed upgrades

The community will be under a boil water advisory following the work until further notice.

LUSELAND — The Town of Luseland put out an announcement on July 10, sharing the entire community will be without water for a day or two.

“The Town of Luseland will be shutting off water on July 16 to the whole town of Luseland. New water shut-offs and two fire hydrant replacements will be installed on this day,” said the announcement.

It continues to say the water will be turned back on in the evening for Lonsdale Street and west of town with an unknown timeframe. However, Russell Street, including Graham Place and east will remain off until July 17.

“Once the required installs are completed, the area of Russell Street, including Graham Place and east will be turned back on that evening with an unknown timeframe.”

The entire community will be under a boil water advisory once the water is turned back on until further notice from the Water Security Agency.
