A notorious north-end car wash in North Battleford is once again coming under fire from councillors.
Councillor Trent Houk singled out the building, and the owners, for criticism at Monday's municipal services meeting at City Hall.
Owners of the car wash, located next to the A&W on 100th Street, successfully appealed a city demolition order and made repairs to the dilapidated property that was damaged by fire in 2011.
But Houk noted Monday the property was back in a state of disrepair.
"The owners have not, in my opinion, done anything to make that building look any better, or the property," said Houk.
He said he had driven down the back alley and there are "trees growing out of the fences in the back alley, the same all the way around the building,"
If it were up to Houk, he would "put a motion forward to move ahead with demolition."
Houk also made clear he was tired of the property owners' constantly appealing for more time to repair the property.
"We have them come here and give us their song and dance and nothing's happened."
