North Battleford Fire Department reports a rural residence is a total loss following a fire Thursday at around noon.
According to NBFD the two occupants of the rental property, located approximately 28 kilometres north of the city in the Hamlin area, were not home at the time.
Three fire apparatus and seven firefighters were on the scene for more than five hours.
