RM OF BAYNE — Human remains have been found in the RM of Bayne. Two men have been arrested in relation to the disappearance of 20-year-old Allan Douglas Garrioch (Glasier).
The remains were found in the morning on March 2 as the result of a number of ground searches within the RM of Bayne that began the day before. A forensic autopsy will be required to confirm the identity of the deceased.
Tristan Daniel Morrison, a 21-year-old from Saskatoon, has been charged with first degree murder, indignity to a body, kidnapping while using a firearm, forcible confinement, break and enter and commit, assault with a weapon, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous and disguise with intent.
Joshua Dominic Canevaro, a 23-year-old from Saskatoon, has been charged with kidnapping while using a firearm, forcible confinement, break and enter and committ, assault with a weapon and two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police said there will be a continued police presence near the Hamlet of Dana throughout the day. They added there is no risk to public safety. Passersby are asked to respect any direction provided by police.
