RCMP from Biggar Detachment as well as RCMP Major Crime North responded Friday afternoon to a rural property located near the town of Arlee to investigate the discovery of what appears to be human remains.
The discovery was made late in the afternoon by a local resident.
More investigation is required to determine the identity of the deceased as well as the cause of death. It is expected an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday.
