Impaired driving tip leads to 24-hour suspension

More than 30 calls for service/occurrences were responded to by North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 and 6 a.m. Thursday, May 22.

More than 30 calls for service/occurrences were responded to by North Battleford RCMP between 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 21 and 6 a.m. Thursday, May 22.

Those calls included three false alarms, three municipal bylaw complaints, two traffic related matters and two false/nuisance 911 calls.2014 May 21 6:00a.m. - 2014 May 22 6:00am

Wednesday

11:20 a.m. - Vehicle damaged over the previous weekend. Suspect known to owner of vehicle.

12:30 p.m. - Cell phone reported stolen from 1500 block of 99th Street.

1:17 p.m. - 43-year-old man arrested on 101st Street for breach of probation. Held in custody and making his first appearance on Thursday.

1:39 p.m. - Shoplifting incident on 101st Street that occurred on May 18 reported.

1:49 p.m. - Complainant reporting ongoing issues of being harassed online and in person by a person known to them. Investigation ongoing.

1:59 p.m. - Uttering threats by phone complaint on Diefenbaker Drive.

2:41 p.m. - 34-year-old man arrested on 101st Street for public intoxication, found stumbling around and having difficulty standing by patrolling member.

2:52 p.m. - Complainant reporting someone hacking into email account.

6:19 p.m. - Vehicle on 1400 block of 101st Street damaged by complainant's ex.

7:30 p.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication after complaint of intoxicated person on Railway Avenue East bothering customersof a local business.

9:06 p.m. - 44-year-old man arrested for public intoxication, bothering people on 101st Street.

11:27 p.m. - Members responded to a 911 call to a hotel, the intoxicated complainant stating someone had sprayed something under the door of his room and his eyes were now burning. Turned out to be cleaning staff spraying air freshener in the hallway.

Thursday

12:12 a.m. - 24-hour suspension issued to the driver of a vehicle on Highway 4after complaint received of possible impaired driver coming into city.

2:01 a.m. - 53-year-old woman arrested for public intoxication on Railway Avenue East.

2:39 a.m. - Complaint of arguing/fighting at a residence on 103rd Street. A 39-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants from another jurisdiction. Investigation ongoing.
