Between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14 and 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, the North Battleford RCMP detachment received approximately 18 calls for service.
Included in those calls were two 911 Act calls, one missing person reports, one Child Welfare Act call and one traffic investigation.
Tuesday
9:52 a.m. - A case of a mistaken address. A man attempted to open the front door to a residence on Clark Drive. Apparently the man was confused about which address he was attending and there was no cause for concern. Members attended and spoke with the complainant. She advised that the man had left without incident.
9:56 a.m. - Complaint of a stolen wallet out of an unlocked vehicle parked on 99th Street. The vehicle was parked overnight and the doors were unlocked. No suspects at this time.
1:18 p.m. - Complaint of two to four people drinking outside a local mall. Members attended. The people were not intoxicated just hanging out.
1:53 p.m. - Report of a vehicle being rummaged through overnight while parked on 18th Avenue. The vehicle had been left unlocked. Nothing damaged or stolen.
1:56 p.m. - Complaint of a gas and dash. $31.00 in gas stolen. The vehicle fled in the Battleford direction.
4:50 p.m. - Complaint of harassment via text message. The suspect's identity is not known as she is part ofan online dating service. The complainant was advised to be more careful about who he is supplying his phone number to, block the caller's number and ignore incoming messages.
5:21 p.m. - Complaint of theft of drill from an address on 102nd Street sometime during the month of September.
6:07 p.m. - Report of an intoxicated woman harassing people and trying to get into a vehicle on 101st Street. Member attended. The woman was not heavily intoxicated. Member gave her a ride home.
6:55 p.m. - Complaint of an intoxicated man bleeding from the head on 101st Street. Ambulance was dispatched as well as police. EMS transported the man to the hospital for treatment. Investigation ongoing.
9:49 p.m. - Complaint of kids outside the Aquatic Center, unknown if they are vandalizing or skateboarding. Members confirmed that the kids were skateboarding. No damage to the buildings, etc.
