Intoxicated youth leaves collision scene

Between 6 a.m. Thursday, July 9 and 6 a.m. Friday, July 10, Battlefords RCMP responded to approximately 20 calls for service. Police are seeking information into the following incidents:
Thursday, July 9

- Around 10:30 p.m. someone reported a minor collision on the 2000 block of 100th Street and said that the driver of the other vehicle had driven away without exchanging information. Officers located the vehicle, which was being driven by a female youth who was intoxicated. The youth was charged with impaired driving.

Friday, July 10

- There was a report of vandalism to a building on Highway 40 East that happened overnight.

- A blue 1994 Chevrolet Astro Van was stolen from the 1700 block of 100th Street overnight and has not yet been located. The license plate is LWN 519.

Also during this time, two people were arrested for alcohol related offences, there were four disturbances reported, one nuisance 911 call and one false alarm.
