The North Battleford RCMP detachment responded to approximately 30 calls for service between 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4 and Wednesday, Nov. 5.
Over the noted time period, North Battleford RCMP also made four arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other investigations included one other missing person who has been located within the time period, five false or nuisance 911 calls, two reports relating to minor disturbances, three reports relating to minor traffic infractions, four false alarms, one child welfare investigation and one investigation in a child custody matter.
Police are seeking information into the following incidents:
- Investigation opened into an assault on the 1400 block of 97th Street at approximately 11 a.m. Victim alleged to have been assaulted by, at the time, an unknown person, but suspect has since been identified. Victim sustained some minor injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
- A 43-year-old man was arrested on 112th Street after a report of an assault shortly after 5 p.m. The victim was not injured during the incident and no charges pursued as the victim did not wish to co-operate with any investigation.
- A 12-year-old youth was reported missing from a group home shortly after midnight. UPDATE (11/06/14): The missing youth was found during the evening of Nov. 5.
