Items stolen from vehicles

North Battleford RCMP responded to over 20 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 and 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16. Over that time period, North Battleford RCMP also made three arrests relating to alcohol offences.

North Battleford RCMP responded to over 20 calls for service between 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 and 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16.

Over that time period, North Battleford RCMP also made three arrests relating to alcohol offences. Other calls included three traffic investigations, four alarms responded to, one minor disturbance, two collisions, one Mental Health Act investigation and one child welfare investigation.

Thursday

• A vehicle parked on the 1300 block of 108th Street entered sometime during the day. Several personal items reported stolen.

• Call of several intoxicated persons causing problems at a residence on Ross Crescent at 10:43 p.m. A 20-year-old man was located at scene and found to be violating his no alcohol conditions. Arrested and charged with failing to comply with an undertaking.

Friday

• A 21-year-old man was arrested and is facing charges of resisting arrest and possession of alcohol in a public place after a call shortly after midnight of some intoxicated individuals in a parked car off Territorial Drive. Two other occupants of the vehicle were also located. Both were co-operative and released from scene without incident. A court date for the charged man has yet to be determined.

• Sometime over previous evening a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of 104th Street was entered and had several items removed or tossed around.

• Call of an assault at a bar at 2 a.m. Complainant was already home as incident occurred earlier in the night. Several of the involved persons have already been spoken to and all were quite intoxicated. No arrests have been made and the investigation is still ongoing. Initial investigation appears to indicate incident was a fight between willing combatants.
