Two men have been sentenced for cabin break and enters in the Cochin district in the fall of 2013.
Battlefords Rural RCMP report that on Jan. 23, 22-year-old Blake Moccasin of the Saulteaux First Nationwas sentenced to four months in jail followed by 12 months of probation. On April 23, 25-year-old Alex Frenchman of the Moosomin First Nation was sentenced to two years jail.
Two other men are also charged, with their cases currently before North Battleford Provincial Court.
Two Moosomin First Nation youth have also been sentenced, serving 12- and 15-month sentences.
RCMP say the charges and convictions resulted after extensive investigation of more than 60 cabin break and enters in Cochin and district.
